A triumph of vibrant colour and fresh taste. Giardiniera is an Italian antipasti of pickled vegetables from the Italian word giardino, meaning “garden”. It is a mixed relish, made with a variety of vegetables cut into variable pieces beets,cucumber, carrots, celery, cauliflower, fennel, spring onions and peppers, preserved in wine vinegar, often enjoyed as an appetiser or to enrich salads and other dishes.
“Acetelli” signifies that the vegetables are packed and preserved in vinegar, which is a traditional Italian method of preserving vegetables.
