Made with fresh eggs, wheat flour, and sugar, they are a key ingredient in desserts like tiramisu and trifle, but can also be enjoyed on their own.

The traditional key ingredient for Tiramisu, the classic use is to soak the biscuits in espresso or coffee before layering with a mascarpone cheese mixture.
