Taralli (ring-shaped biscuits) covered with an icing of Strega liqueur glaze (“glassati”) covering each biscuit.The Strega flavour famous for its golden herbal, sweet flavour with notes of mint, juniper, anise and fennel. This combination creates a sweet confection results in a soft, intriguing and aromatic biscuit that is a speciality of the Benevento region in Italy. Excellent to pair with coffee or for a sweet break in the middle of the morning or afternoon. An intriguing choice as a dessert at the end of a meal, perhaps to be accompanied by a liqueur.
